Sport Massage
Sports Massage Therapy includes Deep tissue and Neuromuscular techniques to reduce trigger points, scar tissue, adhesions, fascial restrictions and improve mobility, stability, and flexibility. It is also meant to reduce nerve compression, nerve entrapment and to increase blood flow. During a session, modalities such as Cupping, Guasha, T-bar compression and Trigger point therapy may be used. Sports Massage is great for treating Sports Injuries, Tendinitis, Plantar Fasciitis, Shoulder Dysfunction, Neck Pain, Back Pain, IT Band Syndrome, Shin spits, Knee pain and much more.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a technique used to relieve muscular pain and tension. It is a gentle type of technique that does not require the therapist to use firm pressure or other techniques which can cause some pain to release your muscular tension. The needles are generally left in the muscle for 5-20 minutes depending on the client’s presentations and the effects are almost instantaneous and can be much more effective than massage techniques for some clients.
Cupping
Cupping Therapy is used by creating suction and negative pressure to the tissue. This style of Therapy is often used to soften tight muscles and tone attachments, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways. Cupping is great for Scar tissue, adhesions, General muscle tightness, Trigger points and Sports injuries.
Fascial Stretch Therapy
Fascial Stretch Therapy™ (FST™) is a revolutionary pain free method of assisted stretching that creates lasting change in the body. It can help to reduce or eliminate tight muscles and or stiff joints that are caused by our tissue being under stress from poor posture, injury, and lack of exercise or over training. FST™ focuses on lengthening and re-aligning the body to relieve pain, improve performance and achieve flexibility and strength.
